The second quarter of 2026 is now behind us. If Q1 was about looking back at our first five years, Q2 was about widening what comes next. The product took on a broader name. Our agents moved into fields with stricter standards. And the way the market reads us started to match the direction we set for ourselves. Here is the recap.
From CommerceOS to AgentOS
On May 1, Enhans changed the name of its operating system from CommerceOS to AgentOS. The date was deliberate. The product gives people their time back by handing repetitive execution work to agents, and May 1, International Workers' Day, carries the same idea.
We changed the name because the product had outgrown it. CommerceOS started in commerce. But over the past seven months, the work our agents handle moved beyond commerce. As the product expanded into manufacturing, finance, and defense, the word "commerce" no longer described what it had become. AgentOS reflects that shift.
May 1 was the starting point of the quarter. Everything Enhans did afterward built on that name. From a tool for one industry to an operating system for execution across industries.
Our First Reference in Defense B2G
This quarter, Enhans worked with the Armed Forces Financial Management Corps (국군재정관리단) to turn construction cost review into an automated verification workflow. It is Enhans' first defense B2G reference.
Defense contract administration calls for deep expertise and precision. Through a civil-military technology task force, Enhans structured practitioners' judgment criteria into operational knowledge an AI agent can act on. We applied the engineering built up while making AgentOS to the defense finance process.
Security and control sit at the center of B2G. Enhans applied a human-in-the-loop approach, with the AI laying out the basis for a judgment and a person making the final decision.
This is the first time we moved technology proven in the private sector into defense, the field with the strictest standards. It is the starting point for our defense market expansion in the second half of the year.
A Foothold to Go Global
In June, Enhans was selected for the Microsoft for Startups Pegasus Program. Pegasus runs on Microsoft Azure and supports selected companies with technical validation and global market expansion.
What matters is more than joining a program. It is the foothold for going global. Enhans has proven AgentOS in the field with enterprises at home. This selection is a new stage to take that work to markets abroad.
What the AI Ecosystem Calls Us
On the evening of June 8, NVIDIA hosted the NVIDIA Korea AI Ecosystem Reception at the Shilla Hotel in Seoul. It was a private gathering that wrapped up NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang's four-day visit to Korea. Around 200 leaders from across Korea's AI ecosystem, spanning large enterprises, academia, government, and venture capital, were invited. Enhans was among them.
The invited companies fell into three groups: AI infrastructure, specialized AI, and applied AI. Enhans sat in applied AI, under AI agents and autonomous execution. The ecosystem reads Enhans as a company building autonomous execution agents. That is the same direction we have defined for ourselves.
The Company Grew in Size and in Role
Enhans had about 70 team members in January. By June, that number was around 110. The team grew quickly in just five months.
Headcount was not the only change. This quarter, Enhans built out its FDE (Forward Deployed Engineer) team in earnest. FDEs work on site with the customer and own the job of making AI run inside real workflows, start to finish.
The reason sits in the field. AI adoption usually stalls in the field, and the blocker is rarely the model's performance. Technology that works in a clean environment stops in front of unstructured data, legacy systems, and the know-how that practitioners carry but never write down. The deeper Enhans goes into enterprise and public-sector work, the more it needs people who can own that last stretch. FDEs are the answer.
We wrote more about how FDEs read a site and solve problems in a separate post. [Link]
Toward Next Quarter
Everything this quarter pointed in one direction. We are moving from a tool for one industry's repetitive work to a company whose agents carry out the work across all of them. The name gets bigger and the stage gets wider, and the direction stays the same. Humans decide. Our agents act.
