Daft Punk was a French electronic duo, two musicians who built a career as helmeted robots performing what they called music made by robots for people. For two decades, they were the icon of an era when the line between people and machines started to blur.
On February 22, 2021, the duo's Thomas Bangalter announced the group's breakup with a question. If AI is starting to imitate human music, can we still point to where the music goes next? A day later, on February 24, Enhans began with a different question. What does it look like when robots do human work?

Our engineering team is led by master's and PhD researchers from UC Berkeley, Tsinghua, Seoul National University, and Peking University. The research doesn't stay on the page. Our papers are published at ACL, ICML, and ICPR, the leading venues in natural language processing, machine learning, and pattern recognition.
